Kalaripayattu-Maruthi Marma Chikilsa & Kalari Sangham school in Thiruvananthapuram

☃️Poland welcomed me with the frosty embrace of winter, but the heat and enormous humidity of India are still with me😜 I even miss those ubiquitous bugs a bit.🦟🐜

💚I am super grateful that I had the opportunity to learn this wonderful martial art of Kalaripayattu at the Kalaripayattu-Maruthi Marma Chikilsa & Kalari Sangham school in Thiruvananthapuram. Grace, movement in line with the body, relaxation and primal wildness are the words that best describe this type of movement.💚

💚 Many thanks to Ajith Kumar for a dose of knowledge not only in the field of martial arts but also Kalari, Marm and foot massage. We understand each other very well when it comes to put pressure on bodies during massages🤣 Thanks to his completely dry sense of humor, I had a great time, both during training, massage classes and during a regular dinner. Thank you Master!

💚 Thanks to Anita for her watchful eye and care during training ❤ The champion of pushing to the limits🙏

💚 Many thanks to Manu Mohandas, who supported and taught massage in line with the spirit of relaxation and tenderness, which was not manifested during the training in Kalari 😝

💚I owe the fact that I felt at home in Kerala to Sithta, the best Kerala chef ever! The most delicious things come out of her wonderful hands! ❤

💚Big thanks to Agnieszka for introducing me to such a wonderful Kalaripayattu family😘

There was a lot of laughter, kalaripayattu training and massage. This is a drop in the ocean of all the knowledge that Indian land has to offer and I am extremely happy that I could get to know at least a little of it😁
